Struggling and stranded knitting

I don't think it is too strong a statement to say I hate purling in stranded knitting. Hate it.
I think I'm going to try switching to knitting backwards on the purl rows. I'm pretty proficient at doing it so we'll see how it goes. I have never tried doing it while changing colors but it has got to be easier than this. Blah.

I made a short video of me knitting backwards:

This is a great skill to have in your repertoire especially for things like short rows or entrelac.

Thanks! I do love knuckle buster rings.

A couple of years I tried knitting "backwards", too. I would think that it would especially work with lefties, and/or charts. You did a wonderful job regardless.

Okay, smartie pants. Are your loops slanting the same direction or backwards? I'm still blown away by the fan lace. Watch every video of you setting up your camera (LOL) and then dazzling me with working out this pattern you saw. You are pretty cool!

Sorry it took me so long to reply, I've been off the grid for a while. I'm no smarty pants but I don't believe my stitches were twisted. I loop my yarn the same way when I'm purling and it seemed to turn out okay.
